to work with TurningPoint 2008

Before you start: you will need a new activation code to upgrade your receiver. You can get this code by calling Steljes Technical Services on 08450 724 999.

Once you have the code, follow these steps:

1. If you have installed TurningPoint 2006, uninstall it.

2. Download and install TurningPoint 2008 from the Resources section of www.turningtechnologies.co.uk. NOTE: You must be in administrator mode to successfully complete the installation.

3. Launch TurningPoint 2008.

4. Plug in your TurningPoint 2006 receiver.

5. Click OK on the message that appears, telling you that this receiver is not licensed for TurningPoint 2008.

6. Click on the Tools button on the TurningPoint 2008 toolbar:


 

7. Select Upgrade licence over the web, and click Next.

8. Enter the activation code you have been sent, followed by your details in the appropriate fields.

9. Click on Next, and then Finish.

Note: if you have an old non-USB receiver, you will need to upgrade to a USB receiver for a small additional cost, or alternatively you can continue to use TurningPoint 2006.
